    We’re beyond excited to celebrate Christina as our May Client Spotlight! Christina brings a fearless “let’s try it” attitude to every single class. Whether it’s tackling a new move or leaning into that extra burn, she’s always up for the challenge—approaching it all with a smile and a positivity that lifts everyone around her. Her energy is contagious, and it truly makes every session better. Her consistency, determination, and openness to growth are what set her apart. Christina shows up ready to push her limits, have fun, and get stronger each time she steps into the studio.     1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?

    I’ve been coming to Fierce since October 2024. I bought the 2-week unlimited pass and have been hooked since.

    2. What is your favorite move on the machine?

    My favorite move is either back lateral lunge or any leg move off the back.

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

    The workout has had a positive impact because it gives me strength and a sense of accomplishment. It’s also a supportive community that keeps me motivated and coming back each week. 

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

    I like this workout over others because no 2 classes are ever the same, and it never gets any easier. It’s always challenging. 

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

    I’ve had 3 spine surgeries resulting in a fully fused spine and rods. After my last surgery 10 years ago, I didn’t know how much flexibility I’d still have or if I’d be able to return to this type of workout. But here I am… in the studio 3 days a week and very thankful for that!

  • This April, we’re thrilled to spotlight two incredible clients and sisters-in-law, Kat Garvey and Caroline Tighe, who have become such a vibrant part of the Fierce community. Since being introduced to the studio by Coach Maddy, they’ve shown up week after week with openness and enthusiasm—trying new instructors, exploring different class times, and connecting with fellow clients. Their energy is contagious, often filling the room with laughter (especially in those shared, giggle-filled moments mid-class). Beyond their positivity, both Kat and Carline have grown remarkably strong, consistently demonstrating impressive form and confidence that inspires those around them. Their presence brings warmth, fun, and an undeniable spark to the Hilltop Studio community.

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?
      • Kat – I started coming to Fierce 11/2024, 3 months after my baby was born <3 
      • Caroline – I’ve been coming to Fierce for almost 2 years now.
    2. Favorite move on the machine?
      • Kat – I literally don’t have a favorite move on the machine; I hate them all (it’s a love/hate relationship).
      • Caroline – My favorite move on the machine is a skater. 
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?
      • Kat – Fierce has made a huge positive impact on my life. It’s 45 minutes to myself of hard, focused, mind-body work, and as a mom, I really cherish that time. 
      • Caroline – Fierce has helped me create a happy and healthy routine in my day-to-day life!

      • Kat – I choose Fierce because I love the workout and the community. The classes always challenge me, and the supportive, encouraging environment keeps me coming back! 
      • Caroline – The community and environment at Fierce are very welcoming. I love chatting with other clients and instructors in passing!

      • Caroline – I speak pig Latin fluently.  

  • 🌸 april New York Spotlight: daniela 🌸

    This month, we are beyond excited to celebrate Daniela as our Client Spotlight for April! 🌟  From the very beginning, she has been an integral part of the community, joining on October 7, 2025, as one of the founding members at the Mt. Kisco studio. Her commitment has been evident since day one, consistently showing up with focus, strong form, and an uplifting, positive energy that enhances every class. Over the past several months, her dedication has been especially inspiring. Even while seven months pregnant, she continues to show up, challenge herself, and move with remarkable strength and determination. Her ability to prioritize her health while maintaining such grace and resilience is truly empowering. She brings a steady, motivating presence to the studio, and her energy leaves a lasting impact on both clients and instructors alike. The community is stronger because of her, and it simply wouldn’t be the same without her. ❤️

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

    I love going to the studio and moving. It’s 45 minutes that I can focus without outside noise, and being there with everyone focused as well is motivational.

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

    I always feel good when I leave Fierce! Even when the workouts are challenging, there’s always positivity in the class that we push through.  

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

    I am 7.5 months pregnant, and it’s been so fun seeing other baby bumps in the class too!

    This month, we are beyond excited to celebrate Maggie as our Client Spotlight for March! 💛🌟  From the very beginning at Fierce45® Mt. Kisco, Maggie took a chance on the studio and has been a steady, inspiring presence ever since. She shows up ready for whatever the workout brings, moving with intention, incredible form, and a smile that never fades. Her consistency, kindness, and positive attitude don’t go unnoticed — they elevate the energy in the room and help set the tone for the entire community. The space is brighter and stronger because of her, and Fierce45® simply wouldn’t be the same without her.  

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?

    I started coming to Fierce in November 2024!

    2. What is your favorite move on the machine?

    Heavy platform lunge or kneeling back platform crunch

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

    Everyone in class is working hard alongside each other, which makes it such a positive and motivating environment. It’s been even more special getting to share that experience with my friend Jenna. Taking class together has turned into one of our favorite ways to spend time together. Fierce has become a place where I am able to clear my mind, challenge myself, and walk out feeling stronger.

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

    I was a collegiate lacrosse player, so I was used to intense cardio and heavy weight training. I wanted something totally different that would challenge me in new ways, and Fierce does exactly that. It pushes me physically and mentally, and no two classes ever feel the same!  

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

    I spent two summers living and working on Block Island. I’m happiest near the beach!!

  • We are SO excited to choose Olivia as our Client Spotlight for February ❤ She always brings a warm energy in-studio, all the while proving herself a force to be reckoned with in taking up-levels throughout class! Olivia works incredibly hard and truly makes the most of the 45 minutes she has, all while focusing on alignment and taking coach cues in stride. Coaches love having her in their classes to use as a model client, and we know we can put our new friends next to her for a welcoming and positive first-time experience. From pre-baby to post-partum and beyond, we are so grateful to have Olivia as a part of the LoHi community! 

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?
      • I’ve been coming to Fierce on and off since 2018. Life’s thrown in a few plot twists over the years: starting a business while navigating motherhood has meant lots of time away from the studio, but I keep showing up. My first class postpartum, I cried in the car afterward because I was so deeply grateful to be back in that room.
    2. Favorite move on the machine?
      • Twisted glider! Wild because if you asked me a few years ago what move I *hated* most, that would have been it. Full-circle moment that something I once struggled with is now where I feel most powerful.
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?
      • Fierce is my mental reset button. Every stressor gets left at the door. It’s impossible to worry about a sick kiddo, needy clients, or an endless to-do list when all your energy is focused on simply not falling off the FierceFormer® 😉 Beyond that, Fierce gave me the tools to reconnect with my body after years of feeling disconnected from it—first through injury, then through fertility treatments and pregnancy. It reminds me that strength isn’t just physical; it’s showing up for myself even when life gets messy.
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?
      • First and foremost, the coaches (not sponsored, I swear)! I love them too much to leave. But I also come for the challenge. What does it mean to show up and be fierce? To me, it’s making choices that are bold and aggressive. Early on, choosing an up-level felt out of reach. Picking up an 8 lb weight while my body is already uncontrollably shaking? Hell no. As I got more comfortable on the machine, I shifted my mindset from up-levels to down-levels. Now in class, I start every move at my maximum effort. What’s the worst that can happen? I lose balance, I drop the weight, I modify mid-set. I do those things ALL THE TIME, but I also surprise myself often. The only way to build ferocity is to expect that you’re already capable of it, and Fierce reminds me every time that I don’t need to be “ready” to do more (and that it’s always okay to do less). 
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!
      • I sang opera in college. One of the hardest things my voice coach used to make me do was sing while exercising to expand my lung capacity.  

  • This month, we are beyond excited to celebrate Julia as our Client Spotlight for February! 🖤🤩  We are endlessly proud of Julia and so grateful for her presence in our studio! Julia’s energy and strength, both in and out of the studio, are truly inspiring to all of us. We’re especially grateful that she took a chance on Fierce45 🤩  

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?

    I have been coming to Fierce45 since late spring/early summer, around May or June. It’s been such a consistent part of my routine ever since. 

    2. What is your favorite move on the machine?

    My favorite move on the machine is either Russian Twists or Carriage Kneeling Crunch!

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

    Fierce45 has given me 45 minutes of my day that I truly get to take just for myself. It’s become such an important form of self-care for me, something that supports both my mental and physical health. It helps me feel grounded, and I leave class feeling stronger. I have also loved being able to bring friends with me, which makes class even more fun and motivating!

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

    I appreciate that Fierce is challenging without feeling overwhelming. I don’t leave class completely drenched in sweat or with my heart rate through the roof, but I still know I am getting a great workout. It allows me to really slow down, be intentional, and activate muscles I wouldn’t normally target.  

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

    I love fashion, so I always try to make sure my workout outfits coordinate, especially with my grip socks. It makes getting dressed for class fun! 

  • This month, we are thrilled to celebrate Samantha Byrne as our January client spotlight! Samantha has been a Year Unlimited member for 5 years in a row! She has been an exemplar of committing to both herself and our Fierce community. It’s been such a long and meaningful journey—from her very first class with Arnica in 2019, through law school, COVID, and so many life chapters over the past six years. We’re incredibly grateful to have gotten to know Samantha along the way; her dedication to Fierce through so many stages of life truly means a great deal to us.  🩷 Fierce would not be what it is today without members like Samantha!

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?
      • I started coming to Fierce45 in March 2019, my first class was with Arnica! 
    2. Favorite move on the machine?
      • I’ve always loved a basic lateral lunge; it targets some of those muscles that often don’t get worked as much with a traditional lunge. 
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?
      • Fierce has provided me with a consistent routine and an effective way to decompress, helping me manage the stress of a demanding job while prioritizing my well-being. When it feels like so much of my time isn’t my own, it’s a part of my day when I can forget about everything else.
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?
      • Fierce is the ideal strength workout; it’s challenging but achievable, and I always leave class feeling like I’ve accomplished something. Plus, the Fierce coaches truly set Fierce apart from other Lagree workouts; they always bring a tough workout, but with plenty of positivity that keeps you motivated throughout. 
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!
      • I’ve swum in a fissure of a tectonic plate in Iceland. 
    6. Why did you choose the 1 Year Unlimited for your membership?
      • I’ve gotten the 1 Year Unlimited membership each year for as long as I can remember. It allows me to take as many classes as I want in any given month at a great value, which is ideal as I’m working toward 1,000 classes!

  • We are so excited to celebrate Kate as our Client Spotlight for the month of December. From the very first time she took class, we have been completely blown away by her work ethic, focus, and drive 💪✨. The fact that she was preparing for major spine surgery made it even more impressive. Kate has truly been one of the hardest-working clients both before and after surgery. She came back stronger than ever, moving with intention, pushing herself without hesitation, and never backing down from all the crazy routines. Kate’s dedication is undeniable, and she is not only committed to her own journey, but she’s also a light in our community.

      • I started coming in May 2021
    2. Favorite move on the machine?
      • Without a doubt, push-ups!
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?
      • Fierce has completely transformed my relationship with my body. I used to focus on how my body looked; now I’m locked in on what it can do. Fierce shifted me from appearance to capability, from self-critique to genuine strength. This past year put that to the test: I went into a major spinal fusion surgery as strong as I could, and I bounced back faster than anyone expected. I was back at Fierce feeling almost like I hadn’t missed a beat—and that’s because of the foundation Fierce built in me. The coaches, the community, and the workouts all made me resilient. Fierce has made me feel powerful and capable in every part of my life—regardless of age, setbacks, or medical challenges. I carry the strength I built in that room into everything I do. Fierce didn’t just change my fitness. It changed me.
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?
      • I choose Fierce over any other workout because it’s the only place that gives me exactly what I need: strength, structure, and genuine support. Fierce fits the way I’m built—both physically and mentally. I’m someone who loves routine, who thrives on being pushed, and who wants to feel strong and capable in my everyday life. Fierce delivers that every single time.  I also choose Fierce because it challenges me without breaking me. I’ve done a lot of fitness styles, and nothing else is as intelligent, safe, and brutally effective. And honestly? I just love being there. The coaches, the energy, the community, the whole vibe… it feels like home.
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!
      • I was so inspired by my Fierce coaches that I once tried to become one myself. Let’s just say… It’s a lot harder than they make it look! I’ll happily stick to being on the reformer rather than on the mic!

  • ❄️✨ december New York Spotlight: Suzanne ✨❄️

    This month, we are beyond excited to celebrate Suzanne as our Client Spotlight for December! We are endlessly grateful for Suzanne’s presence, energy, and the way she effortlessly makes every single visit brighter. Her humor, brilliant sarcasm, and quick wit are truly unmatched. Suzanne has this magical ability to make everyone around her smile, whether she’s trying to or not. And her love for Doechii is iconic. A whole personality trait we fully support! Suzanne brings her own sparkle, her own vibe, and we’re just lucky we get to experience it.

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?

    Since June 2025

    2. What is your favorite move on the machine?

    Child’s pose “on deck” bc that means class is almost over, joking…so not joking! On a more serious note, I am motivated by the people around me, so I like lawn mower or any move when the whole class is in sync, and you can see it in the mirrors.

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

    Fierce has positively impacted my life by improving my health — keeping me moving, and making me stronger. It has also instilled a discipline in me to keep trying even when my body wants to quit.

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

    I’ve never been able to motivate or commit to any type of gym or exercise regimen before. Fierce is the only place that keeps me coming back –  the instructors are great, the music is energizing, the vibe is open, and I always feel like I can just be me.

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

    A fun fact about me, which I think most of the instructors already know, is that I’m not a fan of exercising so being the client spotlight is a bit surreal and humbling. And isn’t it ironic….don’t you think?

  • All throughout August, we are thrilled to spotlight one of our amazing clients, Gabriella Lo Bello! Every time Gabriella walks through our doors, she brings a beautiful light into the studio and ALWAYS rocks the cutest workout set 🤩🔥 Her sweet smile, positive spirit, and fierce determination never goes unnoticed. Her form is ELITE and her commitment to showing up and giving it her all doesn’t just elevate her own practice; it uplifts our entire team and inspires everyone around her.

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout? I’m all about the low and slow method. It’s tough but in a good way—and sometimes I think I even have obliques! And I love all the Fierce coaches!
