Denver Client Spotlight

  • We are SO excited to choose Olivia as our Client Spotlight for February ❤ She always brings a warm energy in-studio, all the while proving herself a force to be reckoned with in taking up-levels throughout class! Olivia works incredibly hard and truly makes the most of the 45 minutes she has, all while focusing on alignment and taking coach cues in stride. Coaches love having her in their classes to use as a model client, and we know we can put our new friends next to her for a welcoming and positive first-time experience. From pre-baby to post-partum and beyond, we are so grateful to have Olivia as a part of the LoHi community! 

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?
      • I’ve been coming to Fierce on and off since 2018. Life’s thrown in a few plot twists over the years: starting a business while navigating motherhood has meant lots of time away from the studio, but I keep showing up. My first class postpartum, I cried in the car afterward because I was so deeply grateful to be back in that room.
    2. Favorite move on the machine?
      • Twisted glider! Wild because if you asked me a few years ago what move I *hated* most, that would have been it. Full-circle moment that something I once struggled with is now where I feel most powerful.
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?
      • Fierce is my mental reset button. Every stressor gets left at the door. It’s impossible to worry about a sick kiddo, needy clients, or an endless to-do list when all your energy is focused on simply not falling off the FierceFormer® 😉 Beyond that, Fierce gave me the tools to reconnect with my body after years of feeling disconnected from it—first through injury, then through fertility treatments and pregnancy. It reminds me that strength isn’t just physical; it’s showing up for myself even when life gets messy.
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?
      • First and foremost, the coaches (not sponsored, I swear)! I love them too much to leave. But I also come for the challenge. What does it mean to show up and be fierce? To me, it’s making choices that are bold and aggressive. Early on, choosing an up-level felt out of reach. Picking up an 8 lb weight while my body is already uncontrollably shaking? Hell no. As I got more comfortable on the machine, I shifted my mindset from up-levels to down-levels. Now in class, I start every move at my maximum effort. What’s the worst that can happen? I lose balance, I drop the weight, I modify mid-set. I do those things ALL THE TIME, but I also surprise myself often. The only way to build ferocity is to expect that you’re already capable of it, and Fierce reminds me every time that I don’t need to be “ready” to do more (and that it’s always okay to do less). 
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!
      • I sang opera in college. One of the hardest things my voice coach used to make me do was sing while exercising to expand my lung capacity.  

  • This month, we are thrilled to celebrate Samantha Byrne as our January client spotlight! Samantha has been a Year Unlimited member for 5 years in a row! She has been an exemplar of committing to both herself and our Fierce community. It’s been such a long and meaningful journey—from her very first class with Arnica in 2019, through law school, COVID, and so many life chapters over the past six years. We’re incredibly grateful to have gotten to know Samantha along the way; her dedication to Fierce through so many stages of life truly means a great deal to us.  🩷 Fierce would not be what it is today without members like Samantha!

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?
      • I started coming to Fierce45 in March 2019, my first class was with Arnica! 
    2. Favorite move on the machine?
      • I’ve always loved a basic lateral lunge; it targets some of those muscles that often don’t get worked as much with a traditional lunge. 
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?
      • Fierce has provided me with a consistent routine and an effective way to decompress, helping me manage the stress of a demanding job while prioritizing my well-being. When it feels like so much of my time isn’t my own, it’s a part of my day when I can forget about everything else.
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?
      • Fierce is the ideal strength workout; it’s challenging but achievable, and I always leave class feeling like I’ve accomplished something. Plus, the Fierce coaches truly set Fierce apart from other Lagree workouts; they always bring a tough workout, but with plenty of positivity that keeps you motivated throughout. 
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!
      • I’ve swum in a fissure of a tectonic plate in Iceland. 
    6. Why did you choose the 1 Year Unlimited for your membership?
      • I’ve gotten the 1 Year Unlimited membership each year for as long as I can remember. It allows me to take as many classes as I want in any given month at a great value, which is ideal as I’m working toward 1,000 classes!

  • We are so excited to celebrate Kate as our Client Spotlight for the month of December. From the very first time she took class, we have been completely blown away by her work ethic, focus, and drive 💪✨. The fact that she was preparing for major spine surgery made it even more impressive. Kate has truly been one of the hardest-working clients both before and after surgery. She came back stronger than ever, moving with intention, pushing herself without hesitation, and never backing down from all the crazy routines. Kate’s dedication is undeniable, and she is not only committed to her own journey, but she’s also a light in our community.

      • I started coming in May 2021
    2. Favorite move on the machine?
      • Without a doubt, push-ups!
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?
      • Fierce has completely transformed my relationship with my body. I used to focus on how my body looked; now I’m locked in on what it can do. Fierce shifted me from appearance to capability, from self-critique to genuine strength. This past year put that to the test: I went into a major spinal fusion surgery as strong as I could, and I bounced back faster than anyone expected. I was back at Fierce feeling almost like I hadn’t missed a beat—and that’s because of the foundation Fierce built in me. The coaches, the community, and the workouts all made me resilient. Fierce has made me feel powerful and capable in every part of my life—regardless of age, setbacks, or medical challenges. I carry the strength I built in that room into everything I do. Fierce didn’t just change my fitness. It changed me.
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?
      • I choose Fierce over any other workout because it’s the only place that gives me exactly what I need: strength, structure, and genuine support. Fierce fits the way I’m built—both physically and mentally. I’m someone who loves routine, who thrives on being pushed, and who wants to feel strong and capable in my everyday life. Fierce delivers that every single time.  I also choose Fierce because it challenges me without breaking me. I’ve done a lot of fitness styles, and nothing else is as intelligent, safe, and brutally effective. And honestly? I just love being there. The coaches, the energy, the community, the whole vibe… it feels like home.
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!
      • I was so inspired by my Fierce coaches that I once tried to become one myself. Let’s just say… It’s a lot harder than they make it look! I’ll happily stick to being on the reformer rather than on the mic!

  • 🍂 November FierceFam Spotlight: Steph poore 🍁

    We are so excited to celebrate Steph for our November Client Spotlight ❤ She is truly such a bright light in our community and connects with so many clients from those who have been coming for years to new friends in their introductory two weeks. She’s always up to take and support new coaches and listen to instruction. Fierce is a positive outlet and you are such a dedicated client. Thank you for being so kind, always. We appreciate you a ton!

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45?
      • I joined the Fierce community in 2022.
    2. Favorite move on the machine?
      • I love plank moves.  You feel it in your entire body.
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?
      • The incredible workout in a supportive community has strengthened me physically and emotionally. Whatever might be going on outside the studio, after class I leave feeling stronger and my mind in a better place. Fierce friends provide motivation, encouragement, and laughs.  I am so grateful to have found Fierce – it is my happy place!
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?
      • The class format has had the biggest impact on strengthening my body.
      • The amazing coaches continue to challenge you with a bit of fun and some great music.
      • You can make move modifications on the machine and still get a great workout. After recent surgery, coaches worked with me so that I could get back on the machine safely.  This not only helped improve my recovery time but lifted my spirits to be back in the studio.
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!
      • This is not a fun fact, but a guilty pleasure.  I love Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.   I have seen every SVU episode in its 27 seasons (sad but true).

  • 🎃 october FierceFam Spotlight: jill o’brien 👻

    We are so excited to celebrate Jill for our September Client Spotlight ❤ Her dedication is truly inspiring and positive energy lights up every class! She is not only focused on her own growth, but she brings so much joy and warmth to our Greenwood Village community making friends with fellow clients and coaches. We are SO proud of how far you’ve come, how hard you continue to work, and can’t wait to see all of the amazing progress still ahead – heading right towards 150 classes! Our fierce community is so lucky to have you!

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45?
      • I have been coming to Fierce since January 2025!
    2. Favorite move on the machine?
      • I can’t pick just one favorite move. I like the saw(I’m pretty sure that’s the name of it), bungee, and Russian twist.
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?
      • Fierce has made me stronger and I love the community of people.
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?
      • Fierce targets muscles I didn’t even know that I had! Also, the ab definition is a bonus!

      • A fun fact about me is that I have had my best friend since we were 5 years old and we are still besties!

Her hard work in every class doesn’t go unnoticed and her consistency and dedication are truly inspiring – both pre and postpartum. It’s been such a joy for everyone to connect with you in-studio over the years.

      • I started coming to Fierce in 2020.
    2. Favorite move on the machine?
      • I love kneeling inner thighs.
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?
      • Fierce has given me a better awareness of how I move through my day. It’s not just about the hour in class. It’s the small things, like noticing when I’m carrying tension in my shoulders, how I pick up my baby, or the way I sit at my desk. That awareness has made me stronger and more comfortable in my own body, which spills over into my energy and mood outside the studio.
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?
      • I keep choosing Fierce because of the community. It feels like more than just a workout. Also, even after 688 classes, it’s still challenging every single time, which keeps me motivated and coming back.
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!
      • My favorite drink with pizza or salad is…a glass of milk.

  • 🏖️ august FierceFam Spotlight: Dakota & jen 🏖️

    In the spirit of besties (Fierce, work, real life:), we are so excited to nominate these two as our Client Spotlight for August!! 👯‍♀️⭐️🥂🤩 We love that you two started coming around the same time in 2018(!!) and have not looked back – with Jen just hitting 900 and Dakota SO close to 800 the timing is perfect. Dakota and Jen are both Fierce rockstars and are always showing up and supporting each-other and this community! We are truly so grateful for Dakota and Jen!!

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45?
      • We started together in 2018!
    2. Favorite move on the machine?
      • Jen: It depends on the day, but right now I’m loving a twisted corkscrew 
      • Dakota: Anything that’s not off the back. Just kidding. I love a good OG move like heavy carriage lunge.
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?
      • Jen: It has been the best sustainable workout. Seen me through a wedding and two babies and made me stronger than ever. 
      • Dakota: I unlike Jen did not play sports and did not work out. I didn’t like going to classes and doing workouts that involved jumping. Finding Fierce was the best thing I could’ve ever done for myself and my body. The high intensity bodyweight workout has truly been a game changer. I am stronger and more confident than I’ve ever been. And that confidence carried on during pregnancy and now after pregnancy!
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?
      • Jen: It’s hard every time and gets me the best workout in 45 min.
      • Dakota: it’s 45 minutes to myself, I leave every time feeling stronger and motivated for my next class. The teachers are amazing and know that some days you need to modify & some days you can hold a plank for a minute and a half. 
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you or you two together!
      • We worked together and decided to try out fierce on our Lunch break. We loved it and would sneak away at lunch and recruited most of our office too! Our office closed in Covid, but now we’re neighbors so we still sneak away together to take class. We might spend too much time together because we often show up wearing the same outfit by accident. We also LOVE to bring our mom’s when they are in town. Love our Fierce Fam! 

  • This July we are excited to celebrate Debra Kelly as our Client of the Month! From the moment Debra steps into the studio—yes, even at 5:30am—she radiates a vibrant, positive energy that instantly lifts the entire room. Her dedication, genuine kindness, and (of course!) her unforgettable dance moves on and off the machine make every class more fun, more joyful, and undeniably Fierce. It’s been such a privilege to coach Debra and get to know her over the past year. Debra, thank you for being such a bright light in our community. We absolutely adore having you in class and can’t wait to celebrate you all month long.

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45? I honestly don’t know – this is my third time coming back to Fierce. Collectively I think it’s been 7 years, maybe longer.
    2. Favorite move on the machine? The one just before the Fierce 45 close. That move, whatever that move that , reminds that I’ve completed another class.
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life? I live a mile away, so I walk to class. I get interact with my neighborhood at its best – in the mornings. By the time I get to class, I am fully present! I enjoy listening the trainers’ talk about what going on with them while they instruct us. I like talking to the greeters. The whole staff all live interesting lives and it reminds me to keep doing new things.
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout? This community of women from all walks of life is extremely powerful and sacred. No matter how or what I am feeling when I walk into class, I come out feeling strong and connected. Even the men who join us from time to time notice our collective power and respect it, which is rare in other group gym classes. It’s a safe strong and fun environment for any woman in all stages of her life.
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you! I like to straighten out and organize the books in the little libraries on my walks. You should be able to walk by and glance at the titles to see if it’s worth a stop to peruse the collection. Sometimes I’ll move a book or two to another library – just because.

  • 🌻 June FierceFam Spotlight: Hanna Lamb 🌻

    We’re thrilled to celebrate Hanna Lamb as our Client Spotlight for the month of June! Hanna shows up to every class with energy, laughter, and a welcoming spirit. Her positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm make her a joy to have in the studio. Whether she’s bringing in friends and family or encouraging new members, Hanna is always fostering a sense of community. She recently reached an incredible milestone—400 classes—and we couldn’t be more proud. WOOHOO! 🎉 Hanna, thank you for being such a bright light in our studio. We’re so lucky to have you!

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45? May 28th was my 2 year anniversary of coming to Fierce45
    2. Favorite move on the machine? Well Lunge
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life? The strength I have gained in my two years at Fierce45 has changed my life. I came to Fierce45 out of shape and struggling with back pain. Strengthening my core and posture muscles has meant I can enjoy playing with my kids, hiking, even skiing, pain free. 
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout? Fierce45 is an approachable workout that I am able to take at my own pace, and most importantly, it’s sustainable. I can level moves up as I get stronger, so it’s always challenging, or level down whenever it doesn’t feel right. Because we aren’t ever in one move too long and class is only 45 minutes total, it’s never too much that I can’t take class again the next day. 
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you! My beloved family pet growing up was a 3-legged cat

  • This month we are excited to celebrate Fierce Member Liz Shrout! Liz brings such a warm energy to the studio; we love how friendly and encouraging she is to newbies, and everyone she takes class with. We are truly grateful to have Liz as a client and are excited to celebrate her all month long.

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?

      Technically, I took my first class in 2016.  After finally coming to my senses and realizing that Pilates is what keeps me sane, I resumed my regularly scheduled programming in July of 2023.

    2. Favorite move on the machine?

      Any move prompt followed by a coach saying, “Liz is already in it!”  That means that 1) I am so excited about it that I don’t procrastinate, and 2) I can be in a position to help someone else who might be new to Fierce or new to the move.  We’ve all been there, right?

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

      In 2017 I had back surgery and I struggled to recover effectively.  I was so afraid of re-injuring myself that I avoided anything that was “high-intensity.”  When I came back to Fierce as an unlimited member, I felt myself becoming physically stronger with each class.  And then I started to realize that my increased strength was actually tied to the shift in my mental mindset.  I shed the fear of injury and embraced my capability and commitment to making fitness a priority.  Plus, my husband says my butt looks great in jeans…so that’s a plus!

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

      Frankly, the Wash Park studio is only two blocks from my house so geography has a lot to do with it! Most relevant to this question though – I’ve always had a strong mind-body connection to Pilates, but I would often finish sessions feeling like I didn’t get enough of a workout.  Fierce fills that void and then some!  

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

      I’ll give you two because I can’t choose! 1) I was voted “Most Likely to Be An Aerobics Instructor” in High School, and 2) Along with friends in my industry, I moonlight as a Rock Star a couple times a year!
