๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ“š Back to School ๐Ÿ“š๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ“

Growing up, โ€œBack to Schoolโ€ signified a new wardrobe, the fresh smell of unused notebooks, and if you were fancy, the multicolored pen. These things added to the excitement of a new school year, including seeing friends post-summer break and finding a new routine with fall sports and after-school clubs, all while embracing cooler weather. Thereโ€™s no reason for the excitement to stop once reaching adulthood, though. After what felt like three summers worth of activities shoved into one (hello all the rescheduled pandemic weddings), autumn is a welcome season and the perfect time to invest in yourself.

Revisit your yearly intention. Remember the intention you set back in January? Take some time to reflect and journal about how youโ€™ve lived that intention this year so far and how you can continue embracing it while reaching your 2022 goals. Use it as fuel as you enter a new season of life.

Shop like youโ€™re going back to school. There are all sorts of ways to prepare - and spoil - yourself for fall that doesnโ€™t involve the trapper keepers of the 90s. Maybe itโ€™s a new pair of leggings for your workouts, or a fresh planner to help you find a new routine. Plan a โ€œschoolโ€ shopping day and treat yourself!

Sign up for classes. Remember class registration in college? Well, book your classes out for the next few months at Fierce! With everyone back from summer travels, classes are sure to be filled. As always, donโ€™t fear the waitlist โ€“ we see a ton of movement around the cancellation windows, and you could be added into classes up to an hour before the start of class.

Make your home ready for fall. Once that cool September air hits, stores are overwhelmed with pumpkin dรฉcor. Find affordable gourds (and tasty fall treats!) at Trader Joe's. Stock your kitchen with some local squash from the farmer's market and light that pumpkin spice candle. Boom โ€“ fall has entered your home.

Schedule some autumn fun. Use the new planner you purchased and set aside some time to go leaf peepinโ€™, apple picking, and cider drinking. With fall comes football, too, so save some weekends for the games! Even if you donโ€™t actively follow, everyone loves a good Sunday Funday, right?

Capture the excitement of going back to school but make it #adult. Have fun celebrating the season and remember, fall signifies not only a shifting of the seasons but is also a great time to make a change in your personal life and revisit the goals you set for yourself at the beginning of the year.
