job purpose, duties, and expectations:

  • Lead a small group, high-intensity Pilates class, that follows a standardized class format and guidelines in accordance with FierceMovement® methodology.
  • Create fresh and energetic playlists and class routines. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Fierce45’s scheduling and POS system, Mariana Tek, as well as all other Fierce45 processes, procedures, and policies. 
  • Establish and maintain Community with Fierce45 clients by interacting, engaging, and creating a welcoming and safe environment. 
  • Take Fierce45 classes regularly to grow as a coach and support your teammates and the Fierce Community. 

required skills and abilities:

  • Ability to coach a minimum of 7 classes per pay period.
  • Availability to coach either early mornings or evenings, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Ability to assist with Coach sub requests as needed, or as required by Studio Managers
  • Must be able to count on the beat of the music or have experience performing with music.
  • Transferable skills may include a background in teaching, dance, cheerleading, etc.
  • Must complete or have completed a current CPR certification before starting employment.
  • Must complete or have completed Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training before starting employment, ensuring the ability to operate AED equipment confidently in case of a cardiac emergency.

preferred skills and abilities:

  • Prior group fitness experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience teaching a beat-driven fitness method like barre or spin is a plus.

compensation & benefits:

  • This is a part-time, non-exempt, hourly position.
  • Starting pay is between $32 – $40 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based upon experience and/or skill level.
