    1. How long have you been teaching at Fierce45?

      2 years!!!

    2. Three words to describe your classes.

      intentional, inspiring, ✨vibes✨

    3. Favorite move on the machine?

I always say I want my friends (and everyone at fierce is a friend) to be toned goddesses, so any oblique move to snatch that waist or any isolating booty work (bungee and EVERY iteration of kneeling sprinter 😍) are my go-to’s.

    4. What is your favorite thing about the Fierce45 community?

This one is personal. Fierce has become a sanctuary for me during some of the best and worst times of my life. The environment cultivated here is seriously like no other. Whether it’s your first or 500th class, you can always count on leaving the studio filled with endorphins, love, and the feeling you’re a little more capable of taking on the world.

    5. Why do you love teaching at Fierce45?

My gosh, what a tough question, teaching class is the most fun I have in a day!! I love designing routines that make you feel proud of your body and sore when you wake up. I love the connection that comes from being a part of someone else’s day. I love love love making playlists.

    6. Tell us a fun fact about you!

I took my first Fierce45 class ever (almost 3 years ago!!) with my mama ❤️

    7. Besides Fierce45, what are 3 of your favorite things?

Being an (amateur) stick and poke tattoo artist, continuing my quest to find the best margarita in Denver, and providing free PR for JB everywhere I go (Bieber Fever till I die).

  • This month we are highlighting an entire Bad Ass family! This mother and daughter trio keeps each other accountable as they take classes together. We are so inspired by the Parker family and love seeing them each week!

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45?

We have been coming to Fierce for almost a year now. 9/20 will be our year anniversary!

    2. Favorite move on the machine?

Kaitlyn: Side sprinter or carriage pushups

      Haley: Back carriage lunge

Krissa: Well lunge and all arm moves

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

We love the sense of community and learning a new way to move our bodies & achieve physical fitness. We love how it clears our minds – we always feel so amazing when we leave, even the days that are hard to come. We have fallen in love with the instructors – they are so inspiring and so eager to help us learn and improve.

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

Krissa – I needed a low impact workout after a significant back injury & it has been exactly what I was looking for. Truly life changing.

Kaitlyn – I’ve lifted weights for years but wanted a new way to challenge myself. I was quickly humbled.

Haley – I have never been able to stick with a workout before and this is something I have fallen in love with. It clears my mind which I love.

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!
We all have a passion for cooking and consider ourselves “foodies” – and we love a good tequila…

  • 🍂Fall Back Into Routine 🍂

    By: Arnica Lande

Cooler mornings signify the end of the summer season and the beginning of autumn. And while the colors of the trees change to oranges and reds, we also settle into changing routines. Even if we’re ready for it, falling back into routine after a summer of socialization and parties can be challenging. Setting the alarm clock a little earlier (or getting used to waking up to darker skies), fewer social events on the calendar (or maybe more running around for the kids and their plans), and the lack of travel plans (maybe you plan that beach vacay now?!) can all be daunting as we hit September, but there is plenty of fun to be had and simple ways to find routine as we enter the fall months!

    • Fall is a new season to look forward to. Make plans to do something fun this upcoming season. Living in Colorado, we’re afforded warmer, more pleasant weather well into the season, so take advantage of fall hikes (leaf peepin!), pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and fresh apple cider. Plan your Halloween in advance so you can put it on the calendar and allow yourself ample time to get your costume together or find a date to carve pumpkins with your besties. Don’t forget about the Fierce End of Summer Bash – stop by our LoHi Studio on Sunday, September 12th between 1:00-3:00 pm to party with the Fierce Fam, enter raffles, and take advantage of discounts from vendors!

    • Set a new goal. Having a new short-term goal (think 3-4 months) is a great way to self-motivate. Maybe you couldn’t get in as many Fierce classes this summer as you’d like, or you want to drink more water as the air cools. Having short-term, attainable goals can help us build confidence to achieve larger, long-term ones!

    • Go “back to school” shopping. Online or in-store, treat yourself to some new items that make you feel fierce. Our online store has everything from Fierce swag to candles and accessories. Maybe you purchase a new planner to help keep you organized! Goal setting planners are all the rage right now, and what a better way to kick off the new season of change than with a tool to keep you accountable.

    • Make a to-do list. If you really want to be specific, start with a seasonal checklist of things you want to accomplish over the next few months. From there, narrow down to a monthly list, then weekly, and then pull your daily “to-dos” from the weekly list. The act of checking things off will make you feel accomplished and successful!

    • Make Sunday dates with yourself. Do something solely for you every Sunday. Maybe it’s a morning walk with the pup and a podcast, a couple hours of meal prep with your favorite playlist so you can set yourself up for success that week, or an evening bath and a book. Taking conscious time in your week to ensure you give yourself a little love not only is building routine, but also gives you something to look forward to!

    • Sign up for classes. Book out your Fierce classes now, and don’t fear the waitlist! There is a lot of movement on rosters at the 12-hour cancellation window, so keep an eye on your inbox to see if you get into class. Always plan on taking the classes you are waitlisted for, because more often than not, you’ll get in.

    • Find a sleep routine. Even if you don’t go to bed at the same time every day, try waking up at the same time daily. Give yourself a few extra minutes to wake up and take time for you, whether it be 10 minutes of meditation, coffee on your porch, or time spent with a book. Not only will a consistent wake-up call leave you feeling more rested and awake during the day, when you give yourself time do to something for you (like Sunday dates!) you can better take care of everyone else in your world the rest of the day.

Finding a routine can be daunting, but it doesn’t need to be boring. So, set a seasonal goal, plan some autumn fun, and make time for yourself this fall!

  • This month we are highlighting one of our Badass clients, Brittany. She brings pure joy to our Fierce45® community by showing up to every class with bright energy and a big smile. Brittany gives 1000% in each move and is a true inspiration to everyone she takes a class with. We are so lucky to have her as part of our FierceFam!

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45?

I believe I’ve been coming for a little less than 2 years. As soon as life opened up again last summer, I committed to prioritizing Fierce consistently and treating it as a gift to be able to move!

    2. Favorite move on the machine?

I’ve fallen in love with almost every move the coaches throw my way! I have loved taking moves in the well as of late – Lunges, kneeling crunch, plank to pike – Gimme all the challenges!

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

I cannot begin to put my gratitude into words for all of the incredibly positive impacts Fierce has brought me! I have been battling several autoimmune disorders over the last couple of years and Fierce has allowed me to stay moving, stay strong, stay full of joy without pain in movements. I am forever changed by this place. From the coaches to the community, I have been blown away by the constant kindness and support for one another… All while getting our butts kicked!

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

It truly is one of the HARDEST workouts I’ve ever done 😂 I’m a sucker for a good challenge – I remember taking my first class, drenched in sweat and thinking “I’m coming back ASAP”. It brings the perfect challenge while being kind on my body. Again, Fierce has been one of the biggest blessings in my health journey these past couple of years!

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

Oh man! In my double life I ran a non-profit in Uganda for roughly 10 years! It’s where my heart and passion lies 100%. In a perfect world, I’ll get well and be back one day… Until then, I’ll keep soaking up all the joy stateside!

Summer in Colorado provides lots of opportunities to feed the mind, body, and soul. For many, the allure of a Colorado summer lies in the mountains. Countless wildflower filled hikes, floats on one of the majestic rivers, mountain biking down grassy mountains, or the simple joy of sitting around a campfire with friends and sleeping under a star strewn sky. For others, it’s a glass of rosé on a summer evening, a backyard BBQ with kiddos running the yard, a Red Rocks concert with those you missed dearly during the pandemic, or a morning Fierce class followed by outdoor brunch with the crew. Whether it be outdoor adventures, quality time in person with friends and family, or working out on the FierceFormer, choose to prioritize what makes you happy and nourish your whole self.

    MIND

    • Getting outside of your home and routine can help relieve stress and provide the mental reset you didn’t know you needed! Taking the step to remove yourself from your usual physical space (home and work) to spend time somewhere new is a simple way to excite the mind with a new adventure and focus on something else. Pro tip: turn off your notifications to live more in the present moment!

    • Summer can quickly become planned out, so it can be extra beneficial during a busy season to take a few moments to yourself! Meditation is an amazing way to slow down mentally, breathe, and calm an anxious on the go mind. Whether it be counting your breath for 3 minutes midday in the office, or taking 30 minutes outside in the morning, a conscious pause in your day can make all the difference.

    • Taking Fierce classes. There is a mental stamina required for Fierce45, because it doesn’t get easier, you just get stronger and become more comfortable settling into the shake! Fierce allows us to expand our mental state so we can better handle stressful situations off the machine.

    BODY

    • Take your cardio to the mountains for an epic hike or go for a stroll around Red Rocks Park in the morning before the heat of the day. Plan to try something new this summer like kayaking, paddle boarding, or rock climbing. Take advantage of the natural gym that is Colorado!

    • Drink your water! It’s crucial to stay hydrated, particularly on hot summer days, to feel our most energized and strong selves. So, keep your water bottle handy – it’ll be your summer bestie!

    • Take a Fierce class. The most visible benefit to Fierce are the physical results! Glutes, abs, and arms – the entire method works to build a healthy functional body so you can enjoy your life to the max outside of the studio!

    SOUL

    • Ask yourself what your personal core values are and what activities nourish them most. At Fierce, ours are Community, Challenge, and Positivity, and we hope that every Fierce class checks those boxes off for each client. Once you nail down your own, think back to the times you felt most fulfilled. Was it secluded in a tent in the back country, or around a dinner table with those you love most? Prioritize those things this summer to ultimately nourish your soul.

There is a multitude of ways to nourish your mind body and soul all summer long, just make sure to take the time to do them before summer passes by! Plan the adventure you’ve wanted to for years, invite your people over for a summer cookout, bring a new friend to Fierce and invite them to the Summer Challenge, and savor all the moments that fill you up.

  • 🙌🏼 A Summer To Celebrate 🙌🏿

    By: Arnica Lande

Pride month is coming to a close, Juneteenth was just declared a federal holiday, and the 4th of July – America’s favorite celebration – is on the horizon. All of these honor one main idea: freedom of a people. And while we may designate a specific time period during the year for these celebrations to take place, this summer should be a celebration for everyone. 2020 may be forever known as the summer of lockdown, but 2021 has already been coined the summer of “vaxed and waxed,” or the summer of travel and socialization. People are ready to visit family members, escape their cities, and party like it’s pre-pandemic. So, while in class on the FierceFormer or lounging on your vacay, celebrate your freedom all summer long by recognizing the challenges you’ve overcome this past year and the strength you have gained along the way.

With entire cities opening up again, there’s a collective sense of freedom that many have missed while in lockdown, so the summer celebrations are guaranteed to be even bigger. Find ways to celebrate yourself each day though, and you’ll be sure to get the most out of the upcoming season:

    • While in class at Fierce. The FierceFormer is an incredible tool to use to understand and celebrate your gains, both physically and mentally. A lot of times, we feel the pain in the moment, and it takes another level of self-awareness to recognize that what we’re doing now, we may not have been able to do a year ago. Whether it be holding a Carriage High Plank, or being in a physical studio to work out around other humans, we’ve come far as a community this past year and learned that even having the freedom to work out should not be taken for granted.

    • Sign up for the “Free To Be Fierce Challenge”, starting July 1st. Take 35 classes in 9 weeks to hold yourself accountable between exciting summer travels and fun parties. It’s a perfect way to stay consistent with your growth from the past year while also celebrating your accomplishments!

    • Always celebrate the little wins. When you congratulate yourself for trying something new, for the big goals achieved, and for overcoming the hurdles, life will be more enjoyable. You made your morning workouts all week long? You increased your water intake for summer? You made it from a variation back into full range for the first time ever without stopping? CELEBRATE ALL OF IT! Life is made for celebrations, and often times we are far too hard on ourselves and don’t take the necessary time to give gratitude and take ownership over our own growth. Through celebrating your wins, you’ll find freedom to grow in all areas of life.

Whether it be within the walls of Fierce or on your first plane ride since 2019, find moments each day to celebrate “you”. Acknowledge the strength gained from the challenges of the past year, the continued grows in your life, and be grateful for the freedom that Summer 2021 has to offer.

  • This month we are highlighting one of our Badass clients, Jacquelyn. Her positivity, energy, and dedication contribute so much to our Fierce45® community. She has made such a great impact at the RiNo studio, befriending coaches and fellow Fiercers, and is always the first to welcome newcomers and make them feel at home. We are so lucky to have Jac as part of our FierceFam!

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?

I’ve been coming to Fierce since I moved to Denver in December 2020.

    2. Favorite move on the machine?

I think I would pick flying plank to pike since it’s of course really hard but also kind of fun! I also love kneeling inner thighs because it’s an immediate burn.

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

Fierce has been positive for me in so many ways! After not being able to use the gym for 9+ months of 2020, it feels so good to be able to jump back into a new workout routine. I’ve felt and seen a big difference in my body and my form, and it’s definitely been good for my mental health too. Plus! Everyone at Fierce is so wonderful. The coaches and community make it so easy to want to come back everyday.

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

I choose Fierce because it really is hard every time, and it’s always different so it never gets boring. I also love that we write our names on chalkboards for the coaches to call out! It makes it feel more personal and is really encouraging. And again…the community is the best. Why would I ever leave?!

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

I am absolutely terrified of dolls.
