  • 🌷April FierceFam Spotlight: Kaitlyn Curtis 🌷

    On behalf of the Fierce management team, help us congratulate Kaitlyn as your April spotlight. We have all gotten to know and love her over the past 4+ years as a Fierce client! We are incredibly inspired by her strength both mentally and physically during her pregnancy and NICU/post-partum journey – such a badass Mama! We love that she pops up at literally almost every Fierce studio & it is always a treat to have Kaitlyn in class! She is always encouraging and is such a welcoming presence to have down at our new Greenwood studio!

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45? My mom and I started together in September of 2020 – we’ve been coming 4-5x a week ever since. Having this outlet with my mama really is everything to me.
    2. Favorite move on the machine? I love a floor curtsy lunge or a good platform sprinter. Please don’t give me a kneeling crunch.
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life? It has taught me so much about the body and how important your core is in every day life. I did Fierce up until I couldn’t in my pregnancy with twins (and years leading up to pregnancy) and I was able to avoid my abs separating, which is common. The instructors and community are so kind and welcoming – they want you to succeed!
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout? It’s a total body workout. You are constantly being challenged and it really is HARD every time! Even this many years later – we keep coming back for more!
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you! I have boy/girl twins, Jack and Summer who are the strongest little babies – born at only 29 weeks (2 months of NICU time) they are healthy, thriving and turn ONE this month! ❤️

  • This month we are excited to celebrate a ROCKSTAR in our community, Danielle Prisco for her commitment to Fierce45 and our 6:30am classes! Danielle is on track to hit every class milestone there is! We are so proud of her. 💖 💖 Starting back in November 2024, she came into the studio so nervous for her first class but now her determination is BEYOND admirable. We love the energy and laughs Danielle brings while she curses between each move we do. 😊  We are so lucky to you her a part of our Fierce family!

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45? I started at Fierce 45 October 28, 2024.
    2. Favorite move on the machine? If I had to pick one of my favorite moves, it would be between  sprinters (ouch) and obliques (where I have to continue to remember to breathe) lol 
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life? I truly believe that Fierce 45 has made such a positive impact on my life.  At age 62,  I have never felt better, stronger, more confident.  (not to mention my clothes look awesome on me now. Lol)   Thank you Fierce 45!!!! 
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout? Well, someone who has NOT EXERCISED IN OVER 20 YEARS (truth) was very hesitant.  I am not a gym person, never have been, but if it weren’t for my daughter, Sami, I never would have known about Fierce 45.  The reviews were amazing.  She did a lot of research on Fierce 45 and everything came back passing with flying colors.   She knew what would work for me.  I was nervous/scared when I walked into the Fierce 45 door.   And I have to say being greeted by Natalia , her explaining to me what Fierce 45 was  all  about,  the benefits, goals and the results gave me such a feeling of calm  and it drew my  curiosity.   That was my first day at Fierce 45 and I haven’t stopped since.   It is so addicting… especially when you see the results that I have seen.  The Instructors are SO AMAZING, very experienced and work us like there is no tomorrow!!!  Their excitement towards our outcome is off the charts and genuine.  LOVE THEM!!
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you! I’m a twin! 

  • We are thrilled to celebrate Rachel Zar as our March Client Spotlight this month! 🎉 Rachel is such a pleasure to have in class and always comes in with a smile and brings all the positive vibes! Most importantly, Rachel is always ready to take on the most challenging moves. 😊 We are so lucky to have her as part of our fierce family! 

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?My first class was on December 9th – I bought a 2-week intro offer and was hooked! 
    2. What is your favorite move on the machine?Front Sprinter! 
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?Fierce45 has made me stronger, both physically and mentally. The workouts push me in a way that no other workout has, and I love the challenge. Plus, the energy in the studio and amazing instructors keep me coming back.  
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?
      I love that I can get a full-body workout that leaves me feeling strong (and sore in the best way). 
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!I’ve run 5 marathons! 
  • This month we are spotlighting a client who just hit 👏🏽 250 classes 👏🏽 – Sam DeYoung! Sam has stuck with Fierce through injury/surgery and it has been so inspiring to see her remain consistent and strong throughout! We love sharing all things big and small with our clients, from wedding prep to the Lohi book club (lol this should be a real thing). Sam, thank you for choosing Fierce, we are so lucky to have you! 

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?I Have been coming to fierce  since April 2022 back in the RiNo days
    2. What is your favorite move on the machine?Favorite move is front sprinter or a heavy leg squat at the front 
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?Fierce has positively impacted my life because it has prepped me for my wedding, gotten me through two hard arm and wrist surgeries, and made me feel so strong through a long recovery. Plus, the great friends I have made there that I can always count on to freak out with over a good book (Arnica).
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?I choose Fierce over other workouts because my body feels so good and strong after coming to Fierce! Especially if I happen to take a hard class with Melissa, Ryan, or Joy! 
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!A fun fact about me is I read 158 books last year! 
  • This month Coach Megan has nominated Catarina Ribeiro for our Client Spotlight for February! 🎉 Catarina is such a pleasure to have in class! Even after a long day of work in the hospital, she shows up and works hard! Her form and strength have improved so much as well because of her consistency and perseverance! Catarina is always listening to cues and instructions and stays engaged throughout class. We are so lucky that you are a part of our fierce family!

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?I’ve been coming since the very beginning! I was lucky enough to take a few of the pre-opening classes and have been obsessed with fierce ever since.
    2. What is your favorite move on the machine?Back flying plank to pike! And/or anything off the back that fires up my core/obliques!
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?I usually go to class before work and notice that I have more energy and I’m in an overall better mood for work. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve noticed myself getting stronger and more toned. 
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?I love the vibe at Fierce. It’s a very welcoming space. I know that no matter what, I will have fun and get a good workout in. 
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!I love to camp and hike! 
  • This month we are thrilled to highlight Cherry Hills member Kalli Likness as our  ✨Client Spotlight✨ for February! Kalli’s dedication is inspiring, and her positive energy lights up every class- especially those early mornings! She is focused on her growth and brings so much joy, warmth and sparkle to the studio by making friends with her fellow fiercers and coaches. Getting to know Kalli over the last several months has been such a pleasure. We are SO proud of how far you’ve come, and how hard you continue to work and we can’t wait to see all of the amazing progress still ahead. Our fierce community is so lucky to have Kalli!

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?I’ve been coming consistently since March 2024, but I tried a few classes back when I was in grad school, too!
    2. What is your favorite move on the machine?Plank to Pike (and all its variations) is a great challenge that leaves me feeling accomplished.
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?Fierce45 has been transformative for me. It’s helped me build strength—not just physically, but within myself. The supportive community and the energy of the coaches have positively impacted my mental health as much as my physical health. I always leave the studio feeling stronger and more grounded, and the early morning sessions are the perfect way to start my day on a positive note.
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?The Fierce45 community is unmatched. The studios are so warm and inviting, and the coaches genuinely care about your progress and experience. They have a way of motivating you and making every session feel intentional. It’s not just a workout; it’s an empowering experience every time.
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!I have a brown streak in my left eye!
  • On behalf of the management team, we are so excited to feature Niki as our January client spotlight. Niki is a Hilltop regular and no matter what mood, she comes in with a smile on her face, ready to work hard and laugh with her friends. She is constantly challenging herself and setting a great example for her neighbor while also having fun. We are so lucky to have her as a client. 

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45? I started coming right after I retired in October of last year. I was feeling a little lost and looking for an outlet. 
    2. Favorite move on the machine? Gosh, a love-hate relationship for sure with corkscrew and the bungee! 
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life? It is the most incredible community of like-minded, fierce, athletic, and supportive women. I look forward to seeing my friends in class, and we hold one another accountable! The instructors care deeply about their clients, and I feel incredibly strong, which is so important as we age. 
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout? I was looking for an alternative to running, something effective but low impact. Its been awesome to build some lean muscle, especially for my core. It’s also a social outlet and motivator. 
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you! I grew up on a farm in Canada and moved to Colorado 25 years ago for law school. I love raising my boys here and in the mountains! I speak French and Spanish, which is fun and according to my kids embarrassing because I can literally talk to just about anyone 💕
  • This month, Coach Christa has nominated Meredith Pizzorusso as our Client Spotlight for January! 🎉 Meredith is such a pleasure to have in class! We love that she always writes an intention before starting class! We appreciate that she shows up early and arrives ready to work hard, setting such a great example for the rest of the class. Plus, Meredith has an unreal wardrobe of only Zen and peaceful beach sand colors that sets the mood! 🐚

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?  I am a self-professed OG.  I started two weeks or so after Fierce opened.
    2. What is your favorite move on the machine?Hmmmm.  Carriage hero or lunges.
    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?Fierce has taught me that strong has no age limits.  In the month or two I have been taking classes, I feel more confident and I see positive changes in my body. I was so intimidated because I have never done reformer pilates but it really is for everyone.  Every move is adaptable to your skill level. I am a 3-4 times a weeker now.
    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?The Fierce45 instructors are fab and very patient, I love the fast pace and the variety of the workouts and I love that it is low impact on your joints.
    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!Fun fact…..though the technical term is Sensory Analyst, I am a taste tester for Pepsi!  I help develop new products and help tweak current coffee, tea, soda products on the market.  And yes, it is as cool as it sounds. 
  • This month we are thrilled to spotlight a Cherry Hills client Alex McDermott! Alex brings such a great energy to the studio; ready to work hard, and so friendly and encouraging to newbies, and everyone she takes class with. We are truly grateful to have you as part of the Cherry Hills community!

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?

      I’ve been coming to Fierce a little over 1.5 years now. I started in the spring of 2023.

    2. Favorite move on the machine?

      I love a good carriage lunge. I actually like legs the least but that move makes me feel strong! Don’t ask me to do any move off the back pegs.

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

      Fierce has allowed me to continue doing all the things I love to do—be outside and active with my family. I had a back injury two years ago and had to give up the high-intensity exercise I’d always loved, and I noticed how much that had an impact on my identity and mental health. I knew Pilates would help heal my back, but Fierce is the best of everything; it keeps my core strong but also satisfies that itch I have to do something that is ridiculously hard every time.

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

      I choose Fierce because it’s one of the only kinds of exercise I can do with confidence that I won’t re-injure myself. This means I can do all the other parts of my life with confidence too. I also love the coaches and appreciate how encouraging every trip to the studio is.

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

      I have a black belt in Taekwondo!

  • On behalf of the entire Fierce management team, we would love to feature Andreina Gomez as our FierceFam Spotlight for December! 🎉 This has been a long time coming and we cannot wait to highlight one of our Fierce faves! Dre is the #1 hype girl everyone wants in their classes, goes above and beyond to form relationships in the studio with clients and coaches, and has brought so much joy and love to the LoHi community. We look forward to celebrating her all month long!

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45?

      Since the end of 2019. It’s been a lovely four years for me and there’s no stopping now! 😈

    2. Favorite move on the machine?

      I know I’m psycho for this, but I love a good forearm core move on zero springs, like a plank to pike or corkscrew (an injury turned me on to forearms and I can’t go back!). A heavy sprinter is a close second.

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

      I can’t imagine going through the good and bad times without my Fierce fam’s support. I feel encouraged to show up, to not give up, and to kick ass on and off the reformer. I am eternally grateful for the laughs, the hugs, and the friendships. 

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

      I’ve never felt this strong and comfortable in my body. Sure, it’s nice to look good (thanks for giving me a cutie little booty and sneaky little abs!), but it’s the energy you feel in and after class that keeps me coming. Plus, now I am so much of a stronger snowboarder! 

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

      I’ve got triple nationality… and, to everyone’s disappointment including mine, just bilingual these days.
