  • Josalyn is an absolute force to be reckoned with at Fierce and we are truly obsessed. She always shows up for herself, her fellow clients, and coaches in the most real and supportive way possible (her shout-outs to coaches and clients in class are everything)! We LOVE that she is constantly bringing friends to work out, and her firey spirit is adored by all. If you see her in-studio, make sure to congratulate her on hitting 100 classes this past month, too!

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?

      Since June 2023?!? 

    2. Favorite move on the machine?

      Pike!!! Any core work!

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

      Not only has Fierce transformed my body to be in tip-top bikini-ready shape but the coaches and staff make me feel like I am home.  Everyone is always so welcoming and encouraging. I come in 45 minutes every day and it resets not just my body but my mind. I walk out of Fierce ready to conquer anything life throws at me! 

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

      The reformer is such a force to be reckoned with! Just when you think you got the moves (or at least the correct foot 🤪), the coaches throw in a challenge and you go back to the struggle. The struggle is so real—> but so INCREDIBLY satisfying.

      I have a giant baby bear, Akita named Kodiak. He’s a floof and has the best personality! 

  • In honor of Eating Disorder Awareness Month, we want to highlight our Fierce45® Founder, Torrey Dill, and allow her to courageously share her story and a big reason behind her start of Fierce.

    Let’s work toward removing the stigma and shame around Eating Disorders! Together we can bring more awareness to such an unfortunately prevalent issue in our society. One way we can help is to talk about and be vulnerable about our experiences. The more we/I can open up and share my own experience it helps me to process my own issues and in tern help others; I hope!

    Fierce45 is a SAFE and non judgmental space. From the get go that was my intention. You don’t need to be a certain size or look to fit in with us! Whatever you are going through we are here as a community to help and support. Criticism and judgment and control are the backbones of many Eating Disorders and Fierce45 can help truly relinquish those internal dialogues by forcing a level of presence and grace and surrender if one is open to it. For me and what I hope for others is that for example: during a challenging exercise practice noticing the thoughts in your mind and if you aren’t saying nice things to yourself try to replace that thought with one that is UPLIFTING and nice and supportive! The more we can practice this shift of internal dialogue the easier it becomes in all situations : )

  • ✨ January FierceFam Spotlight: Mandy Moscatelli ✨

    For January, we are thrilled to spotlight a loyal Hilltop client of over six years who we love having in class, Mandy Moscatelli! Mandy is truly a badass on and off the machine.🤩 Not only is her form amazing but she is always quick to transition and stay in challenging moves. We are so so so thankful for her willingness to help in chaos but still get back on the reformer and kick ass! 💛

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45?

      My first class at Fierce was Feb 3, 2017. I have been coming consistently since day one! 

    2. Favorite move on the machine?

      Plank to Pike is my favorite move, I like feeling the core work and hamstring stretch all at once.

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?
      Following a car accident, I have had to deal with neck and back pain. Incorporating Fierce45 into my routine has been transformative for my health. I feel strong and capable of enjoying activities such as skiing with confidence.

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

      Fierce45 stands out among other workouts for several reasons. Firstly, it provides a full-body workout that targets multiple muscle groups. The tangible and visible results I experience make it a standout choice. It easily fits into my hectic schedule with the quick 45-minute sessions. The instructors contribute significantly to the experience, offering expertise and motivation. Lastly, the consistent challenge, it is hard every time!

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

      I am a mom to two teenage boys. I recently started an apparel company with a friend called Curbside. We design and create limited-edition apparel. A portion of the proceeds are donated to local charities that support youth in our community. Follow us @meetmecurbside

  • On behalf of the entire Fierce management team, we would love to feature Andreina Gomez as our FierceFam Spotlight for December! 🎉 This has been a long time coming and we cannot wait to highlight one of our Fierce faves! Dre is the #1 hype girl everyone wants in their classes, goes above and beyond to form relationships in the studio with clients and coaches, and has brought so much joy and love to the LoHi community. We look forward to celebrating her all month long!

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45?

      Since the end of 2019. It’s been a lovely four years for me and there’s no stopping now! 😈

    2. Favorite move on the machine?

      I know I’m psycho for this, but I love a good forearm core move on zero springs, like a plank to pike or corkscrew (an injury turned me on to forearms and I can’t go back!). A heavy sprinter is a close second.

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

      I can’t imagine going through the good and bad times without my Fierce fam’s support. I feel encouraged to show up, to not give up, and to kick ass on and off the reformer. I am eternally grateful for the laughs, the hugs, and the friendships. 

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

      I’ve never felt this strong and comfortable in my body. Sure, it’s nice to look good (thanks for giving me a cutie little booty and sneaky little abs!), but it’s the energy you feel in and after class that keeps me coming. Plus, now I am so much of a stronger snowboarder! 

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

      I’ve got triple nationality… and, to everyone’s disappointment including mine, just bilingual these days. 

  • This month we have double the reason to celebrate our fabulous coach, Lindsey Lee – she is our November Coach of the Month, and it is her birthday month! 🎉🥳🎂 Lindsey teaches such an intentional, badass class every time. Her sequencing is challenging, smart, and well-thought-out and she always has the best beats. We appreciate her and all the ways she has contributed to our community over the last 6+ years.

      Energetic, intentional, & relentless

    3. What is your favorite move on the machine?

      Any leg move really, but well lunge is my fave

    4. What is your favorite thing about the Fierce45 community?

      Everyone is so dedicated to this method and their physical & mental health. I see so many of the same people show up week-to-week, whether it’s at my class or I’m on the machine next to you. I always feel at home in a Fierce studio.

    5. Why do you love teaching at Fierce45?

      I love to torture people. Lol no, I just have a lot of fun teaching! I enjoy creating fluid, challenging sequences, and I love making class a really music-driven experience. Blasting house & techno at you while you endure a marathon of variations is my love language.

    6. Tell us a fun fact about you!

      I teach yoga too! In fact, I’ve been teaching yoga for about 11 years now. So maybe I have a softer side you don’t know about 😜 You can find me at Black Swan Yoga or check out my recorded classes on www.practicewithlindsey.com

    7. Besides Fierce45, what are 3 of your favorite things?

      Thrifting, my dog Nellie, and throwing parties in the desert.

  • Jackie truly models a Fierce Client! She is supportive of new coaches, will go to any studio and class time, and consistently shares her love of Fierce with others! She is such a joy in our community! We love seeing her name pop up on class rosters because we know she will come in ready to kick ass and do it with a smile! 

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?

      I first started coming to Fierce in 2016 when I was living in Seattle and Denver and fell absolutely in love with the Fierce45 workout!

    2. Favorite move on the machine?

      My favorite move is a tie. 🤪 I love any and all planks but really love doing plank to pike on zero springs. It makes me feel like a Badass! I equally love all of the squats we do but heavy squats are my jam!! 

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

      I love the little Fierce community and it’s made such a huge impact on my life!! I went through a painful divorce after 28 years and believe Fierce was my therapy. ☺️ It started that I would devote that 45 minutes to just being positive and doing something for me, then it evolved into me coming out of the sadness and feeling better about myself and feeling the love all of you give at fierce. I have brought so many of my friends and family and watched it transform their bodies and minds as well! 

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

      I chose Fierce over any other workout because it WORKS! I’m 55 and have never been in better shape!

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

      I’ve brought both my dog 🐶 Chesney and my Grandson 👶 Logan to pilates 👶 and I’ve done pilates in 10 other States but nothing compares to Fierce 45 💃🙌

  • On behalf of the Fierce management team, we would love to feature Katie and Beth as our Client Spotlight for October! We always look forward to having their energy in class and seeing what restaurants they are trying each week. We love the mother-daughter duo that they are and as their @fiercefoodfun Instagram bio states, they both sure do slay reformers!

    1. How long have you coming to Fierce45?

      Katie – 6 years! The first class was July 11, 2017 (552 classes strong!)

      Beth – We have been doing Fierce 45 classes for a little over 6 years, I will be hitting the 259 class mark next week

    2. What is your favorite move on the machine?

      Katie – Flying plank to pike

      Beth – My favorite move is the hip bridge, killer on the hamstrings

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

      Katie – Fierce has given my mom and me a place to come together once a week where we can work out and then catch up afterward at dinner. Not only am I physically stronger and more confident in doing hard things, but Fierce has made the bond between my Mom and me stronger which is priceless.

      Beth – Fierce has made many positive impacts on my life- I am so fortunate and blessed to spend time with Katie, I have met so many wonder people, and I have seen quite an improvement in my strength and general fitness level as well as improved balance which then crosses over to improve my biking stamina and my flexibility with my golf game

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

      Katie – Because it achieves results. I am noticeably stronger, leaner, and feel better all around. 

      Beth – I choose Fierce as an adjunct to my other workouts because it targets so many muscles to increase strength and endurance.

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

      Katie – After our weekly Fierce workouts, my Mom and I have tried 228 different restaurants in the Denver area! 

      Beth – I recently retired from my nursing career which I was fortunate to practice for nearly 50 years!

  • From the entire Fierce45® management team, we want to celebrate Kayla Kimmel all month long by making her our September Coach of the Month! Kayla brings such an amazing 🎶 music 🎶 vibe to LoHi on Sundays and, in general, fills the studio with a positive, fun, and upbeat energy every time she teaches. She always steps up to help her fellow coaches and we are lucky to have her on our Fierce coaching staff.

    1. How long have you been teaching at Fierce45?

      1.5 years!!  

    2. What are three words to describe your classes?

      BEATS, BOOTY, BUBBLY…  It’s not brunch but you’ll be ready to after 😂

    3. What is your favorite move on the machine?

      Lately I’ve been loving a carriage floating cable crunch BUT my time fave is 0 white springs carriage lateral lunge for that 🌶️ 🍑! 

    4. What is your favorite thing about the Fierce45 community?

      We show up, as we are, for ourselves and for each other –  knowing that while the goal is to build outer strength we inherently are also training inner strength which builds confidence on and off the machine. I’m inspired every day by our community that is built on this – we are just filled with the most strong, supportive, vibrant, and cheerful humans!! 

    5. Why do you love teaching at Fierce45?

      When I first started taking classes, I found myself back into my mind/body connection, which after years of trying so many workouts was a huge feat! For 45 minutes all I had to do was zone into my body, listen to the coach, and move to the music. I love that I get to guide and inspire others to get to that moment of “machine zen” – It’s just you, the machine, and the music. 

    6. Tell us a fun fact about you!

      I was a collegiate cheerleader at the University of Colorado during my freshman and sophomore years – I still love to cheer on my BUFFS! 💛🦬🖤

    7. Besides Fierce45®, what are 3 of your favorite things? 

      My pup Fran, adventures in my camper van, & mixing BEATs for friends & fam 

  • On behalf of the Fierce management team, we would love to feature Beth Raizman as our Client Spotlight for September! Beth has been the most loyal Fierce Hilltop client for the past couple of years and we enjoy having her in class. She always comes in with the best intentions and a positive attitude even when we have a routine full of planks (her favorite 😉). Beth always has the best transitions and is always a great model for the newbies at Hilltop. We love having her as part of our Hilltop community! 💗

    October 1 will be my two-year anniversary.

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

    Fierce is so satisfying.  I can feel the various mechanisms in my body firing up and working together.  And it’s challenging AF!

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

    I’ve suffered more bodily injuries and ailments than I can count.  When I’m doing Fierce, I don’t feel the perpetual pain nagging in my joints.  And Fierce enables me to enjoy the activities that are important to me, like skiing and keeping up with my two energetic boys.

    5. Tell us a fun fact about you!

    I am a consummate bookworm – I devour novels all day and night.  I often forego sleep because I cannot put down what I’m reading!

  • On behalf of the Fierce management team, we would love to feature Frannie as our Client Spotlight for June! Frannie started at Fierce pre-Covid and we are so lucky to have her! It is always great having her in class; we appreciate her kindness toward our coaches and fellow clients (especially all the newbies at Rino 😉). Frannie’s sense of humor and positive energy has a huge impact on all of us and is a great daily reminder of the strength of our community 💛💛💛 Thank you for being such a Fierce badass over the years!! 

    1. How long have you been coming to Fierce45?

      My first class was just before Covid and then I really started coming in earnest in the spring of ’22

    2. What is your favorite move on the machine?

      Impossible choice! Sprinter ranks high, though  

    3. How has Fierce made a positive impact on your life?

      Fierce was initially an integral part of my recovery and PT from a hip surgery; even after I’m back at 100%, I’m still hooked! 

    4. Why do you choose Fierce over another workout?

      The strength; nothing gives a more complete workout and sets you up for physical success for decades to come.

      I have three big fluffy dogs and for anyone wondering, three is when they become a pack and you may or may not still be the boss.
